Amenity Room Rental Terms & Conditions
The Amenity Room may be rented for pre-booked private functions, on a first come, first serve basis.
The Amenity Room will be available for use by residents and their guests on an exclusive basis between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 11:30 p.m.
The Amenity Room and adjacent lobbies are designated non-smoking. The Amenity Room is a non-pet area. Guide dogs and assistance dogs are exempt from this rule.
All reservations are to be made though the building manager.
Rental agreements and forms, available from the building manager, must be completed and all bookings must be confirmed by the building manager.
$300.00 must be paid at the time of booking; payable to Grosvenor Canada Ltd. Visitors must be accompanied by a resident when using the facility. Also, children under the age of 19 must be supervised by a resident. Any damage will be the responsibility of the user/resident and subtracted from the refundable damage deposit or billed to the resident’s account if damage is more than $300.00.
The host must clean and return the premise to its original condition by noon the following day. In the event the room is not returned to its original condition, cleaning and all other expenses will be charged to the host and subtracted from the deposit or billed to the resident’s account if cleaning is more than $300.00. The minimum charge will be the current cleaning rate of $45.00 per hour.
Any theft or damage will be assessed to the renter of this room and subtracted from the damage deposit. No decorations are to be attached to the walls, ceilings or fixtures.
The host must be present at all times during the event and is responsible for his/her guests.
The host must accompany any and all guests, and hosts are responsible for the conduct of their guests at all time. The host will identify himself/herself upon request. These premises must be vacated upon request by the building manager or agent acting on behalf of the landlord.
Alcohol may be served and consumed in the Amenity Room only during private functions. If alcohol is to be served and consumed during the private function, the host must – at the time of booking – indicate this on the Amenity Room Rental Agreement.
Prior to the commencement of the event, an inspection of the premise may be completed by the host and the building manager. Also, an inspection of the premise may be completed by the host and the building manager after the event to ascertain any damage, cleaning requirements, etc.
